A mixed-animal practitioner who enjoys it all: dogs, cats, farm animals, birds and exotics. Trained at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia, and has cared for animals in the Armstrong area for more than a decade.

Armstrong Veterinary Clinic has cared for the animals of Armstrong and the surrounding North Okanagan since 1979, and that sense of community is still what guides us every day.

We’ve grown and changed over the years, but our mission has stayed the same: to provide quality care to our animal companions and farm animals alike. As a community-based, locally owned business, we value the relationships we build with our clients and their animals, and we’re deeply invested in the well-being of the community we serve.

Meet the veterinarians
Skilled, steady and genuinely fond of animals.
Behind our clinic stands a dedicated, experienced team: four full-time veterinarians, a part-time veterinarian, six registered veterinary technicians, and a group of receptionists and assistants who keep everything running with care.
Dr. Ben Potvin
Veterinarian
A graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph with a strong background in dairy cattle medicine. Today he works with creatures large and small, with a focus on surgery and preventative care.
Dr. Kaitlyn Crocker
Veterinarian
Trained at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon and the Summer Dairy Institute at Cornell. A passion for ruminant medicine and preventative herd management.
